"La Cave" receives its name from the cool storage area that extended along the back of the original farmhouse. Here the temperature was cooled by an earth floor. Equivalent to a cellar, this would have been the storage area for meats, cheeses and wines for the farm. The original 'cave' now provides the accommodation for the luxury downstairs bedroom and shower/toilet facilities.

• Handicapped or wheelchair users have been specially considered in this cottage with its spacious single-level, open-plan kitchen, diner and lounge.
• All the kitchen facilities are at normal height.
• The ground floor double bedroom room with a king-size bed has an adjacent wetroom and w.c.. Again these facilities have the spacious access needed for wheelchairs (including the w.c. and shower).
